Many kinds of animals live in, on, and around the pond. These animals are all different, but they depend on each other for food.

After you have completed the Reader

Reread page 2 of the book. Then draw a diagram of the four parts of the pond habitat. Draw the animals from the book in their habitat. Draw arrows between each animal and its prey. Which animals have more then one predator?
