Reader Description

Sharks are usually viewed as aggressive predators, but they rarely attack people. Find out more about these magnificent creatures, and why they have such a bad name.

After you have completed the Reader

Make a shark mobile. You will need some string, paper, or cardboard, markers, scissors, and a hole punch. Draw one kind of shark. Then colour it and cut it out. Write five facts about the shark's behaviour or appearance on small pieces of card. Hang the facts from the shark picture. Hang the mobile so your family can see it.
