Building & Modeling Life-Sized Paper Skeleton: Trace a child’s outline on a large roll of butcher paper. Use dry pasta (penne for arms/legs, macaroni for ribs) or Q-tips to glue "bones" onto the outline in the correct positions. Or try this fun activity with marshmallows: Marshmallow Joints: Use mini marshmallows and toothpicks to build 3D shapes. This helps us understand how hinge joints (elbows) and ball-and-socket joints (shoulders) allow different ranges of motion.
